Justin is an international power skating and hockey skills development professional. Justin has a passion for seeing his athletes grow on and off the ice. With over 10 years experience in elite coaching and power skating, Justin has a unique perspective on how to get the most out of his athletes. Justin’s success lies in his ability to adapt to the individual’s strengths and weaknesses.
My name is Kent Hanna and I have been a part of Performance Edge for the past few seasons. My playing career allowed me to participate in the 2013 Ottawa 67’s & OHL Under-15 Program of Excellence Camp, as well as other junior hockey opportunities. I have been able to stay involved with high-performance hockey through the SaskFirst Officiating Program, Alberta Officiating Development Program, high-performance tournaments, and as a linesman in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
Brent grew up on a farm in Midwest Saskatchewan 30 min North East of Lloydminster. Played minor hockey through to Midget AA. After Junior B and few years of Senior A. he started coaching hockey minor hockey in 2011 and most recent the assistant coach of U15AA Taber Golden Suns. The greatest thrill as a coach is seeing the progress of each athlete in their development as a player, teammate, and a person.
Hanna has played ringette for 13 years. She has won multiple provincial medals and played for the Zone 1 Alberta Winter Games team in 2018. In 2016, she began coaching younger ringette teams and in 2019 she started with Performance Edge. Hanna loves instructing at all levels and wants to keep being a role model for many girls in Ringette and in Hockey. Hanna just finished graduating High School and is pursuing a career in Kinesiology.
Jordanne has developed her expert coaching skill set over twelve years of professional coaching. Jordanne is certified by Skate Canada as aNCCP level two skating coach including CanPower and through Hockey Canada as a partial level two hockey coach. As a professional figure skating, power skating, and skating fundamentals coach she works towards developing skaters technical skills with on and off ice training and has formal education in sports psychology and goal setting.
Gina is our off-the-ice queen. Gina grew up in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. After graduating High School she attended the University of Regina where she obtained her bachelor of human justice before spending 13 years as a highway traffic officer. After retiring from law enforcement she switched her focus to a new career in Health and Wellness. She has obtained her level 1 swim coach certification, CrossFit level 1 and 2, Kids CrossFit.
